Kids Who Read Succeed Developing Reading, Language, Writing, and Creativity in Young Children in Grades: Kindergarten & First Grade

Program explores developmentally appropriate activities which foster creativity, promote literacy, and build selfesteem including:

  • Integrated phonics activities
  • Exploring fun oral language activities
  • Developing balanced reading and writing approaches
  • Engaging children in delightful literature
    (Books Alive!)
  • Developing an understanding that reading for meaning is paramount to success in school
    Kindergarten & 1st Grade
  • 8 to 10 students per group
  • Course meets Monday through Thursday
  • 2 week sessions
  • Session I: June 19 – 29 (3:30-5:00 p.m.)
  • Session III: July 31 – August 10 (1:30-3:30 p.m.)
  • Cost: $195.00 per session
